Fund Financing: Brookfield Middle East Partners Gets Credit Line from Standard Chartered

Brookfield Middle East Partners LP tapped Standard Chartered Bank to provide financing for the $2 billion private equity platform, which is teaming up with Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund to do deals throughout the region.
Standard Chartered is serving as the administrative agent for a credit line backed by Brookfield Middle East’s capital commitments and corresponding capital calls, as well as the right to receive capital contributions, according to a February 2 regulatory filing. Investors provided the capital commitments under an August 2025 limited partnership agreement with Brookfield Middle East.
